About these figures
- First-choice offer rates cover the whole council that runs admissions, so districts in the same county share them. They are from national offer day.
- Exam figures average the published results of the schools in the district or county, weighted by each school's number of pupils. Schools whose results are suppressed or not published are left out.
- Crime counts the police-recorded street-level crimes in the district over the latest 12 months the force has published, divided by 2021 Census residents. It leaves out anti-social behaviour. Greater Manchester Police does not publish street-level data.
- For a county, house prices and rents are the range between its districts.
- These are averages for a whole area and say nothing certain about a particular school or street.
